Using ARROWS in your Docs

Go to Tools>Preferences to create a shortcut for each arrow. I use:

"->" for →

"<-" for ←

"-v" for ↓

"-^" for ↑

Use arrows as a substitute for words such as "increase", "decrease", "causes", "leads to", etc.


Using ARROWS in your Sheets

Copy and paste ↓↑→← into an easily accessed cell to copy and paste when using arrows frequently.

Select the cell and copy it with [ctrl]+[c] and paste with [ctrl]+[v], and delete the three arrows that are not being used.
